Slowly the Indian bikers are sifting on imported Motorcycles. They are more interested to drive heavy and imported bikes like Harley Davidson, Triumph Motorcycles, Victory Motorcycles, BMW Motorycles etc. Now a days this words are very common in India’s bike market.

A nicely written, very entertaining and enlightening book. Loved the bit about Steve McQueen's gloves! - Having read the Bert Hopwood, John Rosamond books about the company, I see here a different angle on the "workers co-op" and all the union stuff, it must have been both disheartening and frustrating to have worked in the company that was world-renowned, and watch it deteriorate in the hands of b*s*t and union malcontents. I would assume that Hughie and John Rosamond are not best mates!

While I do agree most of the questions in this forum are somewhat Jr. high, who really cares?

Why can't you just skip over it and go to the next question that DOES intrest you?
For some reason, as humans, we have this inept sense that makes us want to click on things we really don't want or need to see (see "Two girls 1 cup")
The more you try to direct people away by saying "Don't come here" "Go here instead", the more they are going to post here just out of spite.

I'm not sure if you complainers will ever figure that out but the teenie boppers are going to keep asking these question no matter what. It will never change. So just learn how to live with it or move on to something else... like say "A Sport Bike Forum" maybe?

Hi vis vests?
I was returning from York yesterday ( 15:10 hrs 3rd April 2010) the weather was intermitant showery but bright i was wearing a Triumph Motorcycles branded 1 piece wet suit in BRIGHT YELLOW my motorcycle was using both 55 watt superwhite bright headlights, on the A1 a car drove/drifted straight across the front of me from the oncomming slip road totally oblivious to my presence WHY, cos the muppet was on his phone thats why, i think "BE SEEN" wear a hi vis vest, if he could not see a 6 foot 16 stone lemon with 2 blazing eyes he's not going to see a little hi vis vest unless its got SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE blazoned across the front, this proves its the writing that gets the intrest not the vest.

Here below is my solution to this problem:

Lets get one of the biggest modern problems off the road now its easy, anyone caught on the phone handsfree or otherwise should suffer the same fate a no insurance/licence/ tax, STOP them, take the car off them on the spot, lift the car/van ect for 7 days minimum and let them pay for recovery/storage and suffer the inconvienience and cost of using public transport, i would not even trouble them with a fine. Inconvienience is a fantastic free tool that is very effective, if you dont believe me take the car off the wife for a week, say NO to any requests for a lift anywhere, you would be lucky to survive 2 days let alone a week.
                                                      Steve

Err, Triumph Motorcycles are going strong, British owned (based in Leicestershire) and selling thousands of machines a year, many for export! It's not ALL doom and gloom (just most of it...).
