Biker motorcycle Vest If someone's a biker, what's the whole deal on wearing their colors?
Ok, I know what it means to be wearing "colors" if you're a biker. I belong to a motorcycle club, which is NOT involved in negative activities, trafficking, drugs, etc. However, I am aware that other MC's are highly territorial and consider other bikers' colors to be a sign of aggression.
My question is... if I were wearing, say, a t-shirt with my club's logo on it, would that still be considered "wearing colors." Or, does "wearing colors" refer only to when I wear my vest with all the club's patches on it?
I'm asking this question for my own safety's sake, as well as others who will be w/ me on an upcoming trip.
Anything with your patch on it will be considered "wearing colors" now how that will be perceived depends on your clubs status, and where you are going to be. if in doubt, pack em away until you get there

motorcycle Vest Biker Is it okay to wear a custom motorcycle vest?
I'm currently in a band and we would like to make either a leather or denim vest fashioned in the way of a mc vest. We will not be using any colors and/or logos associated with a mc. We would be putting our band logo and band name on the back. I respect bikers and would not want to offend anyone or get into trouble by wearing that. Would this be okay to do? Would we be bringing any trouble on ourselves by doing this? If someone who is actually a biker could answer it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Don't worry about it, cowboys wear vests as well, both denim and leather. I often wear cowboy boots, hat and vest and I've never once had anyone say anything about it.
