Only HD will be able to tell you how many were made. Unfortunately, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, even though its an SE model with low miles, it is also a Road Glide, which was one of HDs worst selling models, they are phasing them out. It is also a 2000 model which is the 88 inch motor with a 95 big bore kit with notoriously bad cam drive failures, HD brought out the 96 inch with majorly updated hydraulic cam drive. The new stock 96 makes considerably more power and is alot more reliable than an old worked up 95.
With today's market and dealers DYING to sell bikes, cutting deals and getting a factory 2 years unlimted mileage warranty, you will be LUCKY to get (stock) $11,400, the NADA listing.

I'm going for my M license and I have screaming eagle pipes on my bike.Will I have a problem because the pipes are too loud and are they illegal?I have never been pulled over because of them.
when i road tested, the instructor told me as long as i could hear his instructions i'd be fine. could have radio or anything i wanted going, as long as i didn't miss his instructions (but i'm in saskatchewan)

I live in the UK and love America, trying to visit as often as I can. Problem is with each passing year America is getting harder and harder to find.

The iconic US brands are now all Chinese or Taiwanese, Harley Davidson, Fender, Gibson (even the American ones are Chinese inside!), DeWalt, Levis, the American consumers have bought their own unemployment!
Try and buy a genuine American keepsake, all the stores are wall to wall Chinese, I took a special trip out to Sheplers in Austin TX thinking it would by as American as mom's apple pie, EVERYTHING Chinese so I came away (and home) empty handed!
This year I plan to come back, Americans are the nicest people, the country mind blowing, can you suggest a State, Region or location that has not been corrupted.

i have a Yamaha vstar 1100 and its better than a harley. its less to maintain compare to harley costing hundreds of $$$$$$ just to have a oil change. paying that much for a harley oil change is ridicous.. dont get me wrong harley owners, theyre great looking bikes. how come harley have not come out with a shaft driven?

Regardless of what you ride, and this goes for everyone out there, having a superiority complex about your brand of bike only makes you look like a poser jackass. A "real" bike enthusiast appreciates all bikes for what they are. End of story.

How many Yen does a used Harley go for. They seem to like the sportster. The youtube video coming out of Japan of Harley owners is great. and they are not your average American type it seems...i.e. fat, ugly, and high credit card limit type folks. Just wondering. Thanks for the info.
example, you can buy a sportster 883 that is 5 years old for about 4500-5000 dollars, almost no blemishes. would that get like equal to 10k there?? or has Harley tackled that market too with dealerships etc.

I looked up a brand new sportster 883l in Japan
935000 yen, that is about 8k U.S.
so it is the same....I thought for sure it would be different.
I've tried looking at the local classifieds but I don't see any Harleys for sale, so I can't really tell you if you'd get more than the $5000 your harley is worth. However, there are Harley Davidsons dealers in Japan, so it's not like you won't have any competition in selling a vehicle on the economy. Wish I could give a better answer, but I think you'll probably sell the Harley for $5000 more or less (600000 yen)
