As long as they're well composed I'd like pretty well any of them.
motorcycle Badge What would you do if a policeman stop your car or motorcycle, and he show his badge saying that?
he want to use your vehicle to chase after the criminal on the road in front. Just like how it is portray in the Hollywood movie. In the real world can the police do that
To chase a shoplifter or drug dealer? I'd pass.
But I'd bet that has rarely happened. I just can't see a cop not just calling for back up.
Life or death and I verified his identity? Absolutely. I'd let most anyone use my car (or at least me drive them) if I KNEW for a fact it was life or death! You know the cops are still going to be calling for help, or asking me to.
The likelyhood of this ever happening would be really rare. I'd say the movies exaggerate this a bit!
Cop stories never meant to go public. A behind the scenes look at a quiet police chief who took back the streets with force, a homicide detective with a Dirty Harry attitude, cops at odds with civil rights feds and police brass, cops who die, cops at play and cops who become legends.

Anybody know what is the best way to fix metal tank badges to motorcycle?
My husband has had his VMax motorcycle resprayed, and needs to reattach the badges to the tank and side panels. When he removed them they were held in place by a sort of black, rubbery material, but he can't find out what was used. The local Halfords suggested double sided tape, but as the tank is curved, and because of the shape of the badges, he doesn't think that will work.
My hubby has just told me that whatever is used it must be non-acidic based, so that it doesn't ruin the paint.
it is a vintage motorcycle and these are the original badges.
sorry, my husband has just told me its a classic bike, not a vintage one!
To John D Halfords is a company that sells car accessories etc. BTW Thanks for advice, will pass on to hubby.
The pads used to attach rear view mirrors to the wind screen/ shield, thses are thicker than double sided tape and the bonding agent is quite strong.
Alternately go to a vehicle finishers and get some "black tac"
This is like Blue tac but is much stronger and is used to bond panels onto vehicle frames it comes covered in silicon paper to prevent it stickinbg to other things it can be cut using a pair of scissors and is very tacky.
motorcycle Art Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance?
Does anyone know of a website that will give me like a "spark notes" version of book "Zen and th Art of Motorcycle Maintenance"?
It does not have to be to spark notes, it can be cliff notes, etc.
Pretty sure there isn't one. That's an obscure and dated book. That being said, it was worth reading. You should try. It'll surprise you. It goes from good to suck to good every chapter, enough so that it keeps you interested once you get into it.

Motorcycle Art
Is anyone a fan of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintenance?
Can you describe it,basically?
Not a fan. It was quite disappointing really and smacked of the philosophy of a manic depressive.
