How well can a person of medium built and of that height ride a Harley Davidson motorbike? Between a Fatboy Low and a Nightster which would be easier for a person of that physique to ride it?
Hey bro......I'm 5'7 and I have to say that height ain't got nothing to do with it.......it's the inseam you need to check out. I have (2) bikes, a 2007 Dyna Low Rider and a 2007 Night Train and I have to say that the Night Train sits just a bit lower for me but? the Dyna is the comfortable one!
The best I can suggest is to go to your local Harley dealer and throw a leg over a couple of bikes and see how they fit....you. Remember that a Fat Boy, a Dyna, a Night Train all use pretty much the same engine (96ci) Unless you get the Screaming Eagle versions then you're up to 110 ci. The Sportsters are either 883 or 1200cc and to me? are like half the bike of the others.
All bikes can be lowerd if needed but remember? when you lower one? you give up some suspension travel and you will really tell this if you ride 2 up. Also? check out bikes with forward controls already installed on them. I swore I'd NEVER have forward controls and I ate those words real quick! They make for stretching out while riding and never giving up control of the brake and shifter.
