@meandmia:

You seem to have missed the entire point of the Old Covenant, the law given to the descendants of Jacob.

The old "covenant" promise of God reveals to us the nature of God, and that God is concerned with everything in our lives. Not just a few big things here and there, but with EVERYTHING, even the littlest things, what we say, what we eat or what we do.

The restrictions of the Old Covenant were written to a different people, in a different time. The Old Covenant is done away with. That's why Christians don't follow the restrictions in Leviticus, those restrictions are powerless to rescue us from our wicked condition. (We don't offer sacrifices at the temple, we don't stone disobedient children, we do put cheese on our burgers...)

We needn't look to the restrictions in Leviticus to tell us whether God intended for same sex marriage or not.

Scripture CLEARLY reveals that God had no intention for a marriage union between a woman and a motorcycle, or a man and a goat... according to God's standard, those relationships do not QUALIFY as a marriage. Redefining "marriage" to mean something different does NOT change what God intends for us.

Todd. You don’t know very well the business. The round fenders were made since quite a few years before JJ by Fat Katz. JJ didn’t become famous because of his name (just easy to remember) but because he did “Motorcycle Mania” by accident, being recommended to the producer by Dave Nichols from Easyriders. JJ was not smarter at marketing himself than any other builders. TV happened to him by pure accident (unlke OCC paying a producer to do a pilot) and at the time he was uknown outside the motorcycle industry and less known in the industry that most other builders. Then, success because of the TV show. JJ understood very fast that he had to fabricate for himself a “bad boy” image. And more he was playing the bad boy and better it worked. JJ is still not a bad boy and will never be. Now, less than ever…for marketing reasons. JJ also loves being surrounded by “clean” people and is going to modify his image to be marketable again. Because money is in in TV and films. New chapter of his life started when he got caught and realized how much he lost, personally, professionally…and financially.
