Would you/Do you ride with bikes that aren't Harleys?
---Including Sport Bikes etc. I ask this because I usually only see Harleys riding with other Harleys.
___Why when the question is asked 'What bike do recommend for a new rider' do people answer a Harley?
----I ask this because I would think they are way too expensive and way too big for most new riders too start with.
Example, http://youtube.com/watch?v=qZlAPD67jfQ
___I work for a large corporation and have noticed that the "Blue Collar" guys ride mostly Honda's, Yamaha's and just about everything else, and the "White Collar" guys all ride brand new Harleys. Why is this?
---I ask this because I always thought of Harleys as a working mans motorcycle, but it seems that only rich people have them.
---Feel free to express your opinions about any or all of these questions.
I have never been on a Harley only run, mostly Harleys and metric cruisers. I don't see many sport bikes on them but it's their option whether to ride with us or not. We probably ride too slow.
I have friends that ride metric. My brother rides a Honda, he gives me more shit about what I ride than I do him. In fact, I offered to let him ride it several times and he refuses to.
I am far from rich, I get my hands dirty at work every day. I bought my Harley new in 2002. I was 39 at the time, I couldn't have afforded a new motorcycle of any kind much before then.
The only person who ever gave me shit about owning a metric was some tool that didn't own a bike of any kind, but if he did......
I have never seen so much of this metric vs. Harley BS in my life before I came on Yahoo Answers. It's like a bunch of women at a hen party. They can't be happy unless there is some shit to stir.
Really, ride what you want, I don't think anyone cares. Neither should you.

my labrador Harley has a yucky red bum / scab tumor?
What could it be?? Do heartworms grow on the outside of the chest??? he runs and plays eats fine etc. but this large tumor/ mass is disgusting and it is red and looks like a tumor please help me i cannot take him to the vet until monday and i m soooooo worried!!!!!!!!!
Bump forgive my mis pelling i should have proof read it
You have every right to be worried about Harley, however, the good news is that the swelling is not due to heart worms. They grow in the heart and do not present themselves as tumors outside the body. However, they're deadly. If Harley is not yet on heart worm medication, you should have the vet test him and put him on a monthly medication such as Heartguard. That will ensure he doesn't get heart worms if an infected mosquito bites him.
Regarding the mass or tumor on Harley's chest, it's possible that a splinter or some kind of sticker is causing the redness and swelling. You might want to place a warm washcloth on the spot three or four times a day for about 15-20 minutes. If any kind of fluid comes out, there's a good likelihood that it's a splinter. I doubt it's a snake bite. If so, it was made by a non-venomous snake, which can be uncomfortable for the dog but not life threatening. On the off chance that it is some kind of tumor, it's not going to do anything between now and Monday when you visit the vet. Good luck.
