I have a riding suit - like for motorcycles. Blue and Yellow. Harley Davidson sign on the back. Made by MALCOLM SMITH Gold Metel Products. I would like to buy another one from the net. Please Help me find it. Thanks to you all.

If I'm not mistaken,,,anything from Malcolm's old Gold Medal Products company is gonna be very old and obsolete.
That goes back to 1970's,,,and has changed forms several times since.
My best suggestion is to contact him directly,,,telephone or email.
I guess he's pushing about 80 yrs old now,but sharp as a Sunday Razor.
And one of a handful of Top All-Time Genuine LEGENDS in motorcycling.
Most of all he's about one of the Nicest guys you could ever hope to meet.
If there's any way he can help, he Will.

Would producing a quality product allow the Big Three to survive?
Harley Davidson went bankrupt years ago. After blaming the Japanese motorcycle companies for years for their problems, they finally admitted that that had a quality problem. Harley Davidson turned their quality problem into a competitive advantage. Here is what management had to say:
Quality became our method of survival," said Ken Sutton, vice president and general manager of Harley's engine plant in Milwaukee.
Should the Big Three go into bankruptcy, focus on fixing thier problems and building a quality product? Isn't this a better business model than relying on the taxpayer bailout?
When you advertise that quality is Job 1, you are admitting your quality is poor.
All three of the automakers are profitable and successful in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, selling cars that get 65/mpg.
They are asking the Democrats for a $50 MILLION bailout in the US.
The Democrats imposed CAFE standards on them in the 1970s so that they would produce high mileage cars.
Somehow they are doing it themselves overseas.
The monopolistic UAW contracts add $1500 to $2000 to the cost of every car. The unions are unwilling to negotiate concessions.
The carmakers comply with labor union laws abroad and pay workers well.
Americans aren't buying US cars.
Is there something wrong with this picture?
BTW, John Deere did the same thing that Harley did. Another success story. No bail out needed. One of our best exporters.
